Perforated screens are used in treatment plants to remove solid particles advancing with water from water.

This equipment provides high efficiency in facilities that produce mostly fibrous materials where pre-treatment has significant importance.

Perforated plates connected to the chain driven by the motor/gearbox assembly hold the particles in the water and remove them from the wastewater stream.

The separated solids then are advance to a chute where they are dropped into a solid waste bin. The top of the screen is equipped with a brush and pressurized water for keeping the perforation open during operation.

Separated solids are removed from the facility after the waste bin is full.
