Sand Filters have been a part of a wide spectrum of units used in the wastewater treatment since the very early days of treatment.

Sand filters can be manufactured with capacities between 10 m3/h and 100m3/h and can be configured for automatic or manual operation.

Wastewater enters the clarification silo inside the sand filter, where solid particles are captured and filtered out of the water. Quartz sands in the filter chamber, traps foreign substances in circulation. It ensures the removal of most insoluble substances in water with high efficiency and low cost.

It can be manufactured as stainless steel 304 or 316 quality and as St 37 + Epoxy coating.
