Penstocks are automatic or manually operated gates used to control the water flow in open channels, pits, tanks, and pipelines.
It is manufactured in different types to be placed in channels and wall outlets according to their mounting positions. Additionally, they can be manufactured to specified types manually or with actuator control.
Penstocks placed on the channel or wall with a special nitrile gasket are used for sealing. Gaskets are also chosen to be resistant to friction, oil and certain acids, consequently they have a long lifetime.
The equipment is manufactured from AISI304 or 316 materials (optionally St 37/2 + Epoxy Painted). The prepared construction is designed to be resistant to all the loads it will be exposed to. With these methods, penstock can be produced in the desired size.
Automatic or manual penstock production can be made up to 4000 mm channel width and 10000 mm depth.
